Disputa de áreas onde cada jogador tem várias ações para executar: produzir arroz, coletar impostos, recrutar e movimentar exércitos, construir e atacar. No fim quem tem mais territórios e construções ganha o jogo. As horas passam e ninguém sente por causa do envolvimento entre os jogadores e suas estratégias. A resolução das batalhas é feita através de torre de peças. Interessantíssimo. |

| soledade | - | Colecção | Very heavy game, nice mechanics and I love the tower. Very clever. It could go bigger than 8. Let's wait and see how it goes for the next plays. edit A big disapointment. After a few plays I've discovered that this game has too much randomness attached to it and I don't like it. It's not that I don't like randomness at all, but in some games I (personal opinion) find it to be too unbalanced and unfair which is the case of Shogun. I would play it a couple of times a year if in the right mood. |

| Pedrator | - | Colecção | This is a fantastic game. I looked around at many geeks' oppinions about it and there seemed to be a lot of debate about the kind of game this is. I don't really think that's important, you just play the game for what it is! And what the game is is high quality components mixed with a great set of rules that make this by far one of the best games in my collection. If I had to tell you what kindof game it is I'd say it is a medieval japanese set war logistics game. It's important that Japan is the set since in japanese culture the honor plays a large role. So battle is not all there is, in fact, bellic manouveres and assaults are fairly scars in this game, what players so is, on one hand trying to avoid defeat in case of an attack, by strategically placing their units, and at the same time rise buildings that ensure honor, thus points. This is mixed with the constant preasure of internal peasent revolts, due to tax and rice collection, needed to buy units and buildings and to feed the army. In all a very good game with a fair degree of complexity that does require some thinking ahead, good planing some strategic considerations. One of the very good ones to me! - As always, Queen Games rulebook are rolemodel on how well rulebooks can be done. Makes the game look easy until you start playing and get aware of the many tough decisions, but luckilly, the rule book helped! |
