It's an excellent 2p game, with a rich theme, quick playing time and good components, however it has little to do with deduction. Mr. Jack is all about positional play, bluffing and tactical creativity. It's still a very good and quick game which is always a pleasure to play. I highly recommend it! |

This medium/light game takes about 40 minutes of play and has a set of very simple yet deep rules. The goal of the detective is to uncover the identity of Mr. Jack and the goal of Jack is to either escape from the game board or to not be uncovered in the game’s 8 turns. I enjoy detective work better where LL prefers playing Jack. Played more games as Jack and the game gets considerably more challenging. x |

The first few plays are relaxed and quick but pretty soon the implications of each move and the possible options left for your opponent make for difficult decisions. Experienced players have a clear advantage over newcomers but the latter soon grasp the basics and make worthy opponents. |
