I feel the Expansions Maps as part of the Game, I will Rate the Expansion Maps based on the Rating I give to the Game, just because I think I will play all of them, almost the same amount of times. My gaming Group is very competitive and we track the Results, we constantly change Maps, play after play. A GEEK among us has just developed PowerGrid Portugal Map and we are now starting the playtesting. |

| Pedrator | - | Colecção | This is the portuguese edition of Power Grid and I totally love it! Haven't played it before but it is just the kind of game I love to play. Heavy Euro-style game! I think the supply/demand mechanism of the energy supply market works fantastic! Then there is also the interesting auction and the network building all in one game with elegant and very functional rules! Great stuff FF! - Not sure if it's the portuguese translation of the rules or the usual mess which FF makes of it, but once again... Rules are not very clear, difficult to mentally structure, but once you master these rules, the game is not difficult to explain, but difficult to master! :) AWSOME Challenge! |

| MrSmith | - | Interesting theme, simple rules, good lenght (3 to 4 hours), good number of players (4 to 5 is good). But...not enough interaction for me! Still willing to play most of the time since my group is thrilled with this one. They compete a lot so i can't stay behind. Only won once though, in many games played. AFTER A FEW MORE GAMES: still fun, but has the same problem as many german longer games, like Wallenstein, which is to make you think a lot and for long. Brainburners like these come less often off the box. Anyway a great simulation and good fun. UPDATE2008: again it is a great simulation and has very good mecanics. Too heavy for the casual eurogamer inside of me. | |
