| fgpina | 8.0 | A 2 hour game that has smart mechanics and clever scoring system. This game is about taking up opportunities in the short and medium term, which can be very challenging to our brain. However, long term strategies are very difficult to sustain, as no position is permanently secure. The game promotes individual logic deduction rather than player interaction. This is the first thing I dislike in it. For my gaming taste, the weakest point of the game is the level of abstractness. I love when a game gives me a sense of reality. With TE this doesn’t happen at all. Despite the negative factors (for me), the intelligent game mechanics make me enjoy the game. | |

| soledade | - | Colecção | I like the game a lot. I really don't know if it's Knizia's best but I love the game. The mechanics is excelent. Very competitive and very heavy. Maybe it's too heavy. The only thing I don't like that much it's the art and the tile's taking. It really makes the game too much lucky pick. Edit: It grows on you. PORTUGUÊS: O jogo é muito bom. Para mim tem o defeito de ser demasiado pesado. Ou seja, mentalmente é muito exigente. Sempre. Também não gosto muito de ter demasiado trabalho a jogar um jogo que depois, ao fim e ao resto, depende demasiado da sorte em relação às cores das peças que vamos tirando. Em termos de desenho também não é muito agradável. Mas é uma obra-prima de matemática. Lá isso é. Things change and although this game still is a good game I have to say that at this point of my gaming life TE is a bit boring, repetitive and dry for what I'm interested in now. The game itself is good, it scales well with 2 to 4 players and it has a good abstract idea but I don't like to play it anymore. |
