O que é o Encontro dos Wargamers de Lisboa?
É um encontro realizado na primeira terça-feira de cada mês, com o objectivo de conviver enquanto se jogam wargames de tabuleiro. O ambiente é de descontração pois ganhar é algo que fica sempre remetido para segundo plano.
A quem se destina?
O encontro é de carácter público, pelo que qualquer pessoa que queira jogar é sempre bem-vinda. Saber as regras dos jogos não é um requisito pois haverá sempre alguém disponível para as explicar rapidamente.

Já q se vai fazer a uma terça e apesar de no dia seguinte ser dia de trabalho, o tempo não é muito por isso a ver se se consiguirá qq coisa de um destes, caso exista alguém interessado:

ou
Grand Illusion: The 1914 Campaign in the West
Qq um deles tem cenários curtos para 3-4 horas, como pretendo chegar um pouco mais cedo, posso começar a fazer o set-up de forma a se começar ASAP. É aconselhável ler as regras.
Então? Quem se atreve, e qual escolhe?
Sounds great, but...
I love the idea of a wargame meeting, but for me the week nights will keep being a problem, so even though I will try to be there, the monthly meetings will remain the best option for these (often longer) wargames.

That's true. The ideia of a meeting in week day is more to play light/medium wargames and hopeful introduce people to the more complex systems.
We must see that our small comunity is much more fan of Eurogames than Wargames ( many just dislike the dice factor).
And yes, for that hardcore Wargame that takes 4+ hours to play Mensal Meetings is better.

For smaller games it is of course fine.
I was just wondering whether yet another meeting would just dilute people from the current meetings.
What I mean is, some of those players going on wednesdays and the normal monthly meeting, might have problems finding one more evening to go, and it could mean that then they will not be there for the other meetings. So, since there is nothing preventing wargamers from playing on the meetings that are already there, it could just mean losing the wargamers from these.
Just a thought. Again, I am all for a wargame meeting (whether I can go or not), was just thinking that there might also be disadvantages to more meetings. This is no complaint! :-)
